Massage oil for the ears. Dirty Treat Records was founded with one principal in mind. Publish music that would otherwise not be published. Because of this, for one reason or another, many of our albums are unavailable for sale due to pending litigations. If we do have a title available, however, you will find it here.
So Glen Toronado was a fairly obscure Neil Diamond impersonator for most of his life. He passed away peacefully in his sleep one night, and a treasure trove of unreleased original music was discovered.
We will have more information about Glen and his life as we gather it, but in the immediate aftermath of his passing we have purchased the exclusive rights to all of his music, and this album "Uncut Diamond" is the best of the bunch, so far at least. The collection is extremely vast. It's wild.
One track of note, might actually be of historical significance, is apparently he decided to do a "Kenny Loggins" style theme song to the film Wild Wild Country. To be clear nobody involved with that film asked him to do this. Seems as though he had some kind of personal connection to the events depicted. Anyways, "Beaver in the Water" is a pretty catchy tune that covers an extremely disturbing chapter of history here in the Pacific Northwest. The Rajneeshis literally ground up beaver and put it in the water. Wild!
After the original Midnight Bandit release, an entire multiverse of musical artists calling themselves Midnight Bandit were discovered, and much beef was had.
Our Midnight Bandit worked diligently to refine his craft, hoping to unite his brethren of the night. This album is the result of all that wasted time and we believe very much lives up to its name. Literally.
Bashinista is featured on drums for the three tracks which could easily be argued are the best tracks on the album specifically because of the drums.
The first track released as a video is entitled: "FALF - Furry Alien I'd Like to Fuck Friendship" and is a cover of the theme song to Alf (the 80s show where this furry little Rodney Dangerfield alien guy goes around trying to bang this nerd's wife and eat his cat and for some reason they all keep it a secret).
Bathtime is a non-fictional band featuring two middle-aged, grumpy programmers that you can't wait to hear. Since they are programmers, their musical style was potentially influenced by electronic and experimental music. The band formed while they were working together at a tech company and bonded over a shared love of music. They started writing and recording songs as a way to cope with stress, and eventually decided to start performing as Bathtime (a nod to the relaxing and meditative nature of taking a bath).
Thousands of years into the unspecified future, a clone of Wolfgang Mozart woke up in a hospital. He was abhorred to learn that his music, which he had really just considered "fucking around" had survived all this time and was considered "classical". He stole a golden time machine and travelled back to the 2020 to record a synth album under the alias of Macho Gold, thinking that when this album failed to take hold it would prove definitively that his music sucked. When he returned to the distant future, he was even MORE abhorred to discover that not only was Wolfgang Mozart considered a classical genius, but that the music of Macho Gold Midnight Bandit had survived as well and was now considered to be the greatest album of all time. A popular opinion was that the only person in history who could surpass Macho Gold's Midnight Bandit's work would be Mozart himself if he had access to synths.
Macho Gold Midnight Bandit is the direct clone of Wolfgang Mozart from thousands of years in the future. He travelled to our time in order to record a synth album and prove that his music is garbage, but it ended up eventually being considered the new standard for classical music.
Smooth beats combined with intellectual, positive lyrics give rise to the 2012 sound of Keith Blocker, Noah Prince, and crew. The Conversation prominently features the talents of TDH and Kraff, and is highly recommended for those who blaze.
2012, are described as "a hip-hop group for peace." 2012's 2 co-founders members - Keith Blocker and Noah Prince - are well known within their respective communities for their professional and volunteer work, especially in mentoring and teaching urban and suburban youth. In 2003, the two came together in Philadelphia with a common vision to work with youth to fulfill dreams and promote educational attainment, positive health choices and using creativity to overcome obstacles. Since then they have relocated and expanded their vision and mission to Tacoma, WA.
Primarily a visual artist, SD Elliott was raised in Portland and used a paintbrush to follow in the footsteps of his grandma. Upon his return from Philadelphia, where he lived and expanded his consciousness for three years, he had lost touch with most of his original circle. Fueled by loneliness and a need to be heard, he decided to compose an album on his computer so he would have something to talk about at parties. Even though it started as a joke, his music became yet another avenue of artistic expression, and he has been working on his fifth album for the past nine years now.
The FINALE in a series of pre-apocalyptic, future-classical symphonies, imagined, performed (live), and produced by the supra composer and visionary, SD Elliott. Just a Dream We Had is a relentless and unrepentant instrumental account of the composer's epic journey to a cryogenic afterlife and back. Originally entitled "Mouth of Man".
The second in a series of pre-apocalyptic, future-classical symphonies, imagined, performed (live), and produced by the supra composer and visionary, SD Elliott. Loaded Gun is an intoxicating glimpse into the final days, a time when outlaws are kings and a bullet speaks louder than words. With afflictive melodies from the future, Wish for a Loaded Gun is itself a destiny.
The introductory piece in a series of pre-apocalyptic, future-classical symphonies, imagined, performed (live), and produced by the supra composer and visionary, SD Elliott. Three Years is the story of Elliott's time living in the city of Philadelphia. Uniquely discordent, but consistently euphorious, Three Years is truly a silvery example of classical music ahead of its time.
The artist's first album was conceived and executed in the span of a week so he could tell people (girls) that he was a composer at parties. The first time he did so, it turned out the person he was talking to had come to the party with an actual composer. Before they could be introduced, Elliott tiptoed out the back and never told anyone he was a composer again. Just kidding, he tells people that constantly.
Fattie Bizniz and 'Stache Rodgers, with their siren-esque dynamic vocals, travelled the Portland area for many years killing parties just so they could get them started again, and their dynamic vocal stylings are aggressive yet sensual and always leave an impression. Nobody knows what came of them but rest assured, somewhere out there the boys are laying down some velvety adult contemporary arrangements for the ladies.
circa 2005 - What's dirtier than two flies fucking? Fattie Bizniz and 'Stache Rodgers last recorded album, that's what. Described as a "brown note but for wet panties", the dynamic duo remake classics such as "Love Boat Theme" and "Tomorrow" from Little Orphan Annie into syrupy slow jams best listened to naked and with company.
Fattie Bizniz and 'Stache Rodgers remake classics like "End of the Road" and "Circle of Life" into sexy slow jams meant to arouse your inner nymph.
